Hi James, I see in your other post that you’ve got round to removing the carbon from the seat cover, could the mystery object be part of the seat locking mechanism ? BTW hoping to do a Saturday run this coming weekend 31st, if you’re free ? C.

Had a brain wave this morning…knew it looked familiar.
It’s one half of the jaws from a thread tapping ratchet, it’s only held in by a small spring (that’s what the hole is for) and the mechanism that closes the jaws. I had left the mechanism quite wide so it basically just dropped out and bounced across the floor…impressive that it’s managed to travel circa 7/8ft. Busy next weekend doing stuff with the wife, weekend after is trip to Olivers Mount. Welcome to come along if you fancy it, tickets will be available up to and on the day. |
