Indicator switch clean \ lube

Hi all, hope you and yours are safe and well.

My evo is garaged and on a battery optimiser, so no issues starting it up from time to time to let it run etc. however yesterday I decided to give it a bit more of a look over, including to check all the light bulbs and horn (I mean usually, why would you?!).

Sure enough the indicator switch failed to activate the indicators when in the left turn position. Right turn was fine. After a few attempts they came on, so I guess the switch is just a bit 'dirty'. All subsequent attempts were fine too.

My question is, what is the recommended way to clean\lube this? WD40? Contact cleaner?

Cheers
