Ive found photobucket the easiest way to show photo,s in threads

The settings you have got in Flickr prevent you from doing so.

You need to be able to share the image url directly, which you can't at the moment.

Once uploaded, copy and paste the whole middle line of text includung all the brackets and img img.

I think it's the line that says for forums and message boards...Good luck...
