I found this old review of an 1100 evo which makes me want to buy one, pity I do not have the spare cash for this one

Strangely enough I've been thinking along the same lines.
The 1100EVO does appear to be in the same vein as the original Monsters, and I do like the look of them, maybe with the exception of the headlight

And seeing the images of this one has really got me thinking, but the price is just over 2X what I currently have available to spend on a bike, and I really need a project to keep me interested.

But I 'm going to regret not going for it when somebody else does.

Track day

Chris,
What are the two red lights that occasionally flash? It seems to happen in places where traction control or ABS would not be working? Nice lines by the way.

Red lights are both Traction control (had it set to sensitive :-( ) and rev limiter.

Still don't understand why they thought a bike like that needed traction control, but I suppose you could always turn it off?

Yes you can turn it off, but on the road it is actually very good, even on track it is good, and you really do not feel it when it is working.

Nice Cadwell footage btw. Brought it back to me the UKDOC track days that show that a slow 2v can still run with the big boys who are fast in a straight line!

I’m sure I’ve said this before but, two minutes round Cadwell on an aircooled thumper’s still not too shabby Chris

Actually she went to a small local dealer today, very sad to see her go though, had some really good rides and a fantastic track day. So I wish whoever buys her will get as much fun as I did.
