Another milestone.
Not a very nice day for it, but needs must. I only had to ford it twice, so not too bad. That's a magic number I was aiming at as a cue to rip it apart and give it the makeover it deserves after serving so well. Poor old girl got a bit neglected when I was building the Commando, so the spruce up is a bit overdue. Lots of little upgrades planned, so watch this space.

Nice one Gary, mine clocked up 20k last weekend (20K in my ownership that is because I fitted a new speedo when I built it).
That said my 916 has done 51k and still runs as good as ever so they're not necessarily the fragile things some would have you believe...

Thanks guys.
Should have reached that mileage over a year ago really, but lockdowns and a new bike last December have kept me out of the saddle. I ran one last errand this afternoon and watched the fuel light come on at 150 miles, so not a lot wrong mechanically. Perfect as I won't have too much fuel to drain down.
