that's dramatic! Are / were you ok?
BTW, can I buy the front part? Kato on here keeps threatening to turn up one night and steal the front from mine. This might confuse him

Yeah I remember reading about that accident too. Glad you are on the mend and hopefully the Monster will rise again too.

Ouch thats a bit messy!! Still half a roll of gaffer tape and a handful of BIG zippies should see it almost invisibly mended.
Sounds like you'll have a few more visible scars than the bike, and it's good to hear that despite their best efforts you're up and hopefully able to empty their coffers a bit. I'm quite in favour of that, it's my tax £'s supporting them so a good payout gets my vote. BBC kinda implies you collided with them rather than them mowing you down. One of those outraged reader stern letters to them I'd think for trying to prejudge the accident and implying you maniacally attacked the police van. If you had an S4 I might have almost believed that one though LOL Hope all goes well and we see you out there sometime plus a shiny new monster of course!!

Nightmare. How badly broken are/were you? A lot of us asked after you on here although nobody knew who it was.
Get well soon and hope to see you up and out on rideouts in the future. Phil |

Glad to hear you're ok! Hope you get what's owed to you and then some.
See you around on the 1098 and/or brand new S4rs!
