'ello!

You might get to meet Doug (who also has a M1000 & lived in Lancing) but he's recently moved to London - tho I understand the bike is still in Lancing

Any help would be welcome.
I had my accident 13 yrs ago that left me this way. at the time i was told i would never walk again. Me being me, would not take that as fact. It toke me 3yrs in a wheelchair, then onto crutches and the onto sticks, then nothing. I will say i go onto sticks when my legs wont cope and my back, which is often now adays. It was a car in a hurry to work and i was on my bike, so easy to wipe you out. Not gonna stop me, never has. I had a trike when i was in a wheelchair, cause i went to london and did a motorcycle mechanic course, i also went up on a bike with crutches tied to the back of my bike. I have also done years of training as in motorcycle instructing to the highest qualification. but my health is to the point, it hurts to type this.
As anyone knows the clutch is very heavy on a ducati, it kills me and i have to pull over and stop, but it's the bike i have alway's wanted and i intend to ride as long as i can.
But i can not reach the ground easily, does not help.
I have taken 2inchs out of seat, they do not do a conversion on the height, like they do most bikes. Can any-one help to keep me on this bike?

I did a search for

mpl clutch

on here. My buddy Kato fitted one and his experience is here. There are alternatives, including packing the original slave with washers. I can't speak from experience on the mod, but the mpl is certainly much easier to operate.

Re seat height - I'm sure something must be possible.

It might be worth taking your previous post and creating a new thread - I'm sure you'd get plenty of help!

I don't use this much, but it's appropriate:

Hi, from Rusty35

Lovely Bike, have you been riding for years? I am leaving my first low powered Bike and have been wanting to get advice from riders about which power band to jump too?
