poor downshifts 750ss
750ss is now completely oil tight but down shift of gears is poor sometime 5th to 4th and 3nd to 1st gear dont select unless i rev and double declutch and then the foot lever feels soft as in no click or crunch of gear change .. its intermittant clutch is beld solid so im wondering if a its a gear selector issue ????

I'd perhaps look at the bits I could get to without an engine strip. I would sugges making sure the clutch lifts as it should and that the plates are all good, then look at the push rod

Is the push rod domed at the end that operates the pressure release plate?
If not the release plate may wobble causing the clutch to grab slightly |
