a quick question on insurance....they always ask "do you use your bike to comute?"....does a daily ride of 5 miles to work count as a comute, and does anyone know if this affects your premiums?

Riding to work does count as commuting mate.
However, with a few companies it may not affect premiumm, if your overall mileage is low anyway. The difference in mine was only £21 - so I added the commuting anyway - tho I rarely take the bike to work (2 & a half miles, and as I work in suit - its a bit of a bother getting changed etc - and actually takes longer on the bike!) Its just nice to have that facility tho. C |
