Self-deprecating humour I assumed; but maybe not?

Isn't Hoover in that context more of a genericized trademark or proprietary eponym? Like Velcro or Escalator

I'll be taping! I'm looking forward to the WSB season more this year though. MotoGP has left me cold over the last couple of years, I know there has been multiple winners, I just find it a bit dull.

Two live GPs on ITV

As happened last season, ITV will again be showing two MotoGP rounds live this year.

The first will be the German Grand Prix (June 17-19) where the MotoGP race is on ITV1 with the Moto2 and Moto3 races on ITV4.

The other GP is, of course, Silverstone (5-7 August) with all three classes shown live on ITV1.

No times yet. Watch this space!

Just a quick reminder that the German Moto3 and Moto2 races are live on ITV4 this Sunday from 9:30 am with the main MotoGP race on ITV1 at 12:30.
