695 Here I Come!!!
Hi all. New to the forum, I've just bought this 06 M695 today on eBay, item no 290217946857. Collect it on Wednesday. There's been some discussion on the For Sale board about the sellor, but the bike is mint and it's only done 800 miles. He's sold thousands of items on eBay, check out his feedback, and I found him to be very up front and honest about what he does. He buys px bikes that main dealers doin't want, adds £200 and knocks them out as they are. I'd say he does very well out of it.
Looking forward to the bike. Not had a Ducati before, all Jap bikes up until now. Maybe get out on a ride out with some of you in the near future. Does anyone get over to High Beach in Epping at the weekends? I'm only up the road. Steve (Theydon Bois, Essex) |

if you're talking about Jim from Bikenders I bought my 996 off him from ebay
I had it delivered by his courier, he took the trouble to phone up and warn me he hadn't had time to check the tyre pressures and to see if everything was alright top man, I'd buy another bike off him he's totally straight with you on description and really knows his Ducatis went out of his way to get me the bike quickly crust |

Nice looking bike, Steve. Hope you find it more fun than the Jap bikes. Definitely get some open cans on it when you get a chance, so she'll sound so much better.
Hope to see you about on it. Jon.

Glad everyone has has good experiences with Bike Enders. Jim the owner is even picking me up on the way to the workshop tomorrow so I can collect the bike without having to mess about getting there. He does pretty much have to pass my front door on his way to work though.
Got the cash, sorted the insurance, can't wait for the morning, hope it's not pouring like it was first thing this morning. Any recommendations on open cans? Second hand, cos my bank account is a little lighter today! Steve |

If you've got the day off, why not pop down to Brands and meet a few of us?

Loughton,
I'm only in Hornchurch and am always up for a ride out. You'll love the 695. Few on here have got em including Moi. I've got Sil's on mine and they're loud. Rosso Corse can you sort you out some. Paid i think about £380 for mine. Enjoy the bike |

Congrats on a nice looking bike Steve (OK, I'm biased).
If your new bike is an 06, how much warranty left? Although I've never heard of anyone having a problem, I'm told Ducati won't honour warranty claims associated with any aftermarket pipes other than Termignonis. The Ducati Termi kit comes with a modified ECU & air filter, but it will cost more than pipes from many other manufacturers. I'm thinking of putting the Termi kit on in a few months, a local Ducati specialist reckons it's good for an extra 10% of umph. It is supposed to sound good too. |

Well done on the purchase - you'll love it- now just make sure you get some safety features - loud cans. Ace Cafe this Thursday for Italian Night if you can face a schlepp round the north circular - show off your new baby!!!
