Hi All!
Hi every1 I joined the site to help me get some info on S4R. I had an accident at work in march which has left me with a badly damaged wrist. I currently ride an R1 and the two don't mix to well!! A m8 is selling an 05 S4R with all the carbon bits and the termis and only 1000 miles, I think this will be a good bike for everyday riding so I can save my R1 4 sunny Sundays! My problem is finding an insurance company who recoginise the bike confused.com and the like only list the S4 916cc and S4R 998cc I know the bike has the 996cc engine so is neither of these! HELP!!

If it's a testastretta engined (999 engine) S4R it will be a 998cc. Otherwise it will be the 996cc engine from the 996 model. Try gocompare.com.

Try www.biketeam.com, lots of insurance companies have difficulty getting all the engine sizes and specific models right. The guys at biketeam went a whole lot further to really help me get insurance and get it for the right model, at the time my S4R Testastretta 998cc was new and no one had it listed.
