M900 new member
Hello, thanks for the add. My '96 M900 which I bought new back in the day, has been laid up for a few years, but now planning to get her back on the road. No doubt I'll pop up again soon elsewhere on here seeking advice!
I'll add a couple of pictures when I've sussed that out. thanks Gavin (in London) |

thanks luddite! that worked..
last photos from 5 years ago... some further deterioration has occurred since then... ... but the bike is holding up well! and back when we was fab, on touring duty in 2002. I've kicked off the job by getting the leaky tank repaired, which has got me committed to seeing the job through. currently getting the garage tidied up enough to tackle the cylinder heads (she was burning a bit of oil prior to her sabbatical at 25,000 miles). Otherwise the plan is to just to basically do all the servicing required after being stood for best part of 10 years! |

That’s a rare bike: an M900 with all the original bits still on it!
Are you planning any changes now, or are you going to replace what’s worn and carry on?

Mine would look like that if I put them all back on- all the original parts for mine (down to engine bolts, brake lines and mirrors etc.) are wrapped, bagged and tagged and stored in my loft.
