Amazing Dutch Monster
I went to Antwerp yesterday and met a Dutch guy (also called Rob) who has been building this bike for 4 years, whilst riding it, when it's not in bits for remodelling.
It started life as an ST4 rolling chassis with a 900SSie motor and of course, a Monster tank. ![]() Vintage tacho and 916 bars, ![]() he has a tiny Sigma bicycle speedo which unclips when not in use. The tank is done with gold leaf under six coats of laquer. ![]() Now that's what you call a tail-chop! ![]() Sport Classic front guard and BMW R75 headlight. ![]() ![]() Seat came from a BMW R50, adapted and recovered by Rob. ![]() ![]() 2 weeks ago, it was in bits having the frame painted. It's a work in progress, next to go on are stainless clip-ons, fashioned in keeping with the '20s-'30s styling. Nice work Rob! Ride safe and see you around. Wow, looks amazing, and such a Sunny day for you Slob.
No problem getting back on the train ? Aren't all European transport links stuffed full of people at the moment ?

yep, more discs = less back-pressure/more noise etc.
