Hello from Nova Scotia
Hi all.
I'm new here, all the way from Nova Scotia. One of your members, BluPrintz, contacted me that a thread on a Triumph forum with pics of my Monster had found its way onto this board. I came by to check it out and found a nice group of enthusiasts so I decided to join. Unfortunately here in NS we're currently sitting under about 2ft of snow with temps averaging -10C. No riding for me until spring. Our long winters give me lots of time for web-riding and bike modding though which is almost as much fun. hehe. Anyway, hope to contribute a bit to the forum. Cheers, Mark |

Where is this picture of your bike so we can all have another look at it?

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Here are my bikes. 2000 M966Sie - modded into my version of a cafe racer: 2007 ST3s ABS - set up for 2-up touring: One more pic from the Cabot Trail, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. This spot is about a 4 hour ride from where I live. Pretty, huh? |

Nice toys you've got there Markus, shame about the weather though.

The Cabot Trail is a very popular destination throughout the summer months so the road can be a bit congested with winnebagos, campers, and our slow-moving, ape-hangered cousins. I try to time my trips either before the first of July or later into September to avoid the crowds. As far as sharing the road is concerned, I've always found cars and trucks to be gracious to a fast moving rider by pulling over to let me pass whenever it's safe. Really a nice gesture from the 4-wheeled crowd. This is my favourite stretch of the CT. Looks like fun, huh? |
