Blast from the past & www.corsescuderia.com

I assume there's some original UKMOC members who may remember me as having the original Spareshack back in the day ?

Well, for my sins I've decided to set up a new online venture which my son and daughter will take care of on a daily basis, but with me having found memories of UKMOC I wanted to mention it here first.

So in short, see www.corsescuderia.com (10% off for UKMOC members). It's early days so we'll see how it goes but if demand justifies it I'll start adding various trick parts like the old days but for now it's mainly exhausts from the likes of HP Corse & Sil Motor

And if anyone wants to catch up and chew the fat about the old days where trellis framed monsters rolled the road drop me a line.

All the best, and Happy New Year !

Stuart

Good luck with the new venture Stuart.

I’m stuck in the 70s and 90s with my choice of bikes, but I’ll keep an eye on the site for suitable bits.

OMG Stu!!

How goes it?

I still have my old ‘97 900 and it still has the parts bought from you way back when the UKMOC was in the hands of Fatbloke and Grunter- is it just me or were the roads better back then?

I was hit by mod addiction in '08 - '09 - '10. Spareshack was a major enabler.

We all know how addictive it is and that there is no cure.

Have I finally found someone to blame?

Thanks for the messages. It does seem like we were in a sweet spot back in then. Bikes we crying out to be personalised but now it seems to be mainly exhausts or performance related rather than add ons as such. Anyway, we'll see where it goes.

As for the shoulder, yeah it's all good. Managed to smash the other one up in 2019 coming down the Stella Alpina, got a bit over confident on a Ducati Scrambler until I hit what felt like a brick wall. 24 hours in Italian A&E and a written off bike I'd only bought 2 days earlier !

Anyway, I'd thoroughly recommend it and will be back again for more once we're allowed out to play. It happens in July and can be ridden on pretty much any bike if you take your time.

Stu that's great news.... well as long as I don't end up giving corsescudaria as much of my cash as spareshack

Interesting!

Goodluck with your venture and I will be waiting with baited breath for "trick parts"!

Stuart,
Long long long shot but can you source Remus exhaust parts?

I’ve got a Remus hypercone in titanium on my 1100Evo. The carbon tip is damaged, ideally I’d like to source / buy the carbon tip…and maybe the rivet band.

TIA
James
