Welcome to UKMOC

As you say.. a full engine service is a must on a bike with unknown history

Hope to see you on the road soon

Hello and welcome.

Belt change is easy. Valve clearances a lot more tricky, but still ok if you take your time.
There are good vidoes out there on both...the guy from california cycleworks.

Tanks can rot at the rear...might be worth draining to get rid of any moisture.

Welcome, you will find lots of information and helpful people here.
Grumpy is in your neck of the woods I'm sure he will be along shortly.
We have an annual national meet in May, and a trip to our Belgian friends in Sept.
Also a few of us are planning to go to WDW in June.
