I had an M900 many moons ago and, if memory serves, it had Brembo P30/34 calipers and they have M8 x 1.25 bleed nipples.

I think they are smaller than that as I bought the wrong Ti ones first time round.. I'll check in the morning.

M10x1.00mm on my 1997 900.

I bought nice shiny Stainless ones a couple of years ago for it.

Seeing as we each came up with a different size- sometimes no help can be the best help eh?

As usual with Ducati parts, it seems it's not straightforward! There are Brembo P4 30/34 calipers with either M10 or M8 nipples.

Just to muddy the waters a bit more, I just looked on the Stein Dinse site and their parts diagrams for all M900s (1993-2002) show the M8 nipple. (This is their 1994 diagram.)

Seeing as Flip has the same model year as you, his M10 is probably correct but the best way to check is just to pop into your garage and get a caliper over the hole - if it's 8mm then you want M8 x 1.25; if it's 10mm then M10 x 1.

Yeah I know- I was joking!

As Luddite quite rightly says it’s seldom straightforward with Ducati’s, particularly the older models where there were either interchangeable parts or crossover years or both.

Ask one question- get three answers and they each might be correct!

My y2000 with Goldline callipers is M8.

I found the Ti nipple that I erroneously bought, which is M10x1.. Yours for the postage.

My nipples are very cold this morning!

Further cogitation and study of Flip's pic, leads me to believe that the early callipers with banjo and nipple arranged in "V" formation as in Flips picture, are M10.
The later Goldline callipers with banjo and nipple side by side in parallel twin formation, are M8.

My '02 S4, same later type calipers as 996 (side by side type as Gazza describes) are M8. The rear caliper iirc is M10 on mine. So check both front and back if you plan to replace all 3.

Yep just to confirm it’s M10 on the rear of mine too.
