Smile Fuel pipe query

Hi All,

Back from Normandy and back on with the 900 (and the 620ie too!).

Looking at connecting the original mk1 tank to the early fuel filter via the mikuni diaphragm pump to the carbs.

I've measured all the outputs and discovered that everything is a different size so am going to have to go best fit on two of them.

Tank to filter - 8mm to 8mm
Filter to pump - 7mm to 8mm
Pump to carbs - 6.5mm to 8mm
Inlet to pump - 6mm to 6mm

Ideally I'd like to see what's going on but am conscious that since I last purchased any fuel pipe ethanol has become more of an issue so would like to hear what folk think is the best type to go for?

I've also realised I've got a 900ss fuel tap and not the correct 900m version either - doh!

One hose is going to require some careful forming as it needs to almost double back on itself so I'll try some techniques to bend this correctly.

Cheers

Ben

The lines are available from (for instance) Moto Rapido.

Some are pre formed so no need to bend them into kinked contorted shapes.
They also reduce in diameter where needed.

You can email that picture as an order btw.

As for Ethanol resistance I couldn't comment, but you would have thought they had been made to suitable spec?

Thanks. I can't remember if the inlet on the bdst carbs is the same as on the tdmr however so will check.

Need another load of genuine parts so need to do an order when I can afford it...
