Kryptonite Locks- Customer Service
Simply outstanding!!
A couple of weeks back I filled out their web form asking if it was possible to purchase a new fabric sleeve for my 'New York Chain' which spent the first ten years of it's life in a damp lock up being chewed and probably Pee'd on be resident Mice and so was in a very sorry state. The next day there was an email in my inbox saying a new sleeve had been sent out F.O.C. with expedited UPS shipping from their U.S. headquarters. In just over a week it arrived at my house- Wow!!

It's a bit sexier than the old inner tube I've got on my chain

That's been my experience too, Flip.
I have two locks and, for each one, perhaps 8 years apart, I asked about getting a replacement plastic cover for the keyhole. In both cases, they sent one free of charge from the States. Wow indeed! |

I have also experienced the same from Kryptonite when I needed a new part for y bicycle U lock. In general I have often found American companies to be good in this way.

That is excellent. Will remember that when I next buy a security device.

Ha ha! I had already brought home from work a length of Heatshrink tubing we use for power cables just in case.

So instead I bought a Kryptonite which I have say seems as good as anything (if they really want it they’ll get it I’m sure) but at least they will have to make two cuts to remove it.
