Bickerton Poacher

............ hope we are all remaining well as the roadmap to getting our life back gathers pace

So First Sunday of the month falls on a Bank holiday weekend, but lets give it a try anyway, we can always bail out if the place is rammed.

Peter has had recent experience at the Bickerton Poacher, outside table service, large car park ,covid measures etc so we are going with that location as a starter for ten while poor Laura continues the refurb of the Lockgate.

10:00 am is when the place opens, Sunday May 2nd, hope to see a couple of folk there.

Update

Dry and sunny spells in the Wirral, heads up there is a table booked in the name of Peter Kynnersley at 10:00 if anyone arrives before we do.

There are two car parks, use the one to the RIGHT when looking at the front of the pub, when approaching from Broxton it’s the first entrance.

Great choice of venue by Pete, all in all a good catch up. Just beat the weather on the return home, hope the rest of the gang did too, Chris and Pezz travelling the furthest.

Next week is the route reccy ride for the weekender, fingers crossed for a dry day.

Hi nige, we will be mixing it up a bit due to the closure of the Lockgate, watch this space.

Next Sunday is a big day as we head to the lakes to suss ride outs for the weekender. Meeting at charnock Richard services if you fancy a big day out?

Good to see a couple of faces we've not had around for the last year or more, good choice of venue by Pete.

Let's hope the weather forecast for next week end changes, just emailed you a potential route Mike

Vyrnwy

Hi Folks,

Next monthly meet will again be at the Bickerton Poacher, Sunday 6th June.

Peter is booking us a table for 10:00 AM gain so we can once again enjoy sausage and egg, with egg, bacon with egg and extra egg and of course egg !

From the Poacher he is leading us out to Lake Vyrnwy. A location he was at earlier this week cycling with non other than Jamie Whitham !!

Please let me know who is up for the bimble so Pete can get the table/tables sorted.

See you there

Are newbies welcome? Only had the Monster a few weeks so still getting used to it, and I don't normally ride in groups, but I live only about 30 mins from the Bickerton Poacher so seems rude not to? No worries if not

Of course you are Chris it will be great to see you, in fact you are nearer the poacher than most of us!

Coming from your direction it will be the second entrance on the left. We can compare notes on the 821

See you on the 6th,

Mike.
