1994 Honda NR750

That's right, the oval piston one. Actually they're shaped like Spam tins. Very special bike is this and, believe it or not, its what the 916 was styled around.

I always wanted one. Seeing that price makes me think I should have added it to the mortgage now!
I know of one person with one and he asked £200,000 a few years ago and it didnt sell?

Makes a Desmosedici sound cheap as chips at £42,500 new in 2008.

From memory these were £46000 in 1994 and the RC45 was £16200.

No chance he will get that much. I saw one when I bought my first 125 (at that time I didn't know what it was) and it was up for £100k and he hasn't been able to sell it for ages!

I think its more of a attempt at getting his business advertised rather than actually selling that NR750 although if the person thinks they can achieve that sum of money for the bike imo they are in la la land

http://www.motorcyclesunlimited.co.u...s_showroom.htm if you go to the bottom of page 3 seems the price has been dropped bargin

I've seen a 750 imola going for a quarter than that. Still, an amazing bike. I do wonder why they never raced it.

There's a couple on ebay, including a zero miler just up the road.

Never liked the look of the OW-01, Geoff.

I'll have one someday
