Hello, I'm the new guy ;-)
Hello guys
My name is Kobi Liany, new member here I'm from several thousand miles away - Israel, not far from Tel-Aviv. just turned 35, married, father of 3. I am a journalist for the last 14 years, editor for the largest cars & bikes website here. Recently bought a Monster 1000S i.e 2005, my first old(er) ducati. had a monster 796, streetfighter 848 and a diavel not as the owner but as a long term test bikes. I'm here thanks to a member's recommendation and I have to say, i love what i see here. Hope to learn from you all. that is my monster. nothing fancy like i see here, low mileage and so. this one had 52,000 km, it was ridden well, since here we can ride all year long. but it had a full rebuild - all and all, before i bought it. hope you like it. ohh, and it is the single M1000S i.e in Israel, so yeah, basically it is rare ;-) |

Thanks Grumpy!
It is chained at home and covered but ducatis are the least stolen bikes here. bikes are generally stolen for parts, and there are not enough old ducatis here to create a demand. |

Welcome! Lovely example of a lovely version of the Monster.
Possibly popping over to Israel myself later this year, so I'll have to keep my eye open for your bike.
