Q: 900 termignoni exhausts

Got the exhaust for my 900 1997 , they are off a 900 too

The left side sits perfect , right side is not sitting as I would like (Clutch side)

The exhaust bracket (hanger) on the clutch side is straight as opposed the opposite side , it is angled half way

Any body with termignoni exhausts have different brackets wither side?
The Clutch side on mine sits in alot tighter to the swing arm than the other , looks off

exhaust link pipe clamps, this the best place?

Clutch side clamp (Straight)

Chain side is (angled)

Is your right hand footrest hanger bent? are there any marks on r/h side of bike from an off? scuffs on footrests, bar ends, lockstop damage, dent in tank etc.

Everything is straight, I would tell if it was down, . its the angle of the photo

I reckon the bracket on the clutch side needs to have the same bends as the chain side

Was wondering if anybody on here had Termi's to confirm?

I see some Ducati 750SS 900SS 1000SS brackets look similar in shape

Will try them later!

Not too sure if the Termignoni brackets are different , was hoping somebody could confirm on here

I reckon the chain side is the SS model bracket , she sits really nice with it !

I've got a set from an S4 in the loft. I'll have a look over the weekend for you if nobody else can check the same model.

Thanks Darren!

I will take them off later , hopefully a part number is etched on the Brackets; will try the OE brackets too ; the chain side bracket ( I think is an SS bracket) she sits really nice and OE looking with the heatshields, straight bracket on the Clutch side, she sits really far in from the heatshield , looks like an after taught (bad fitment)

Only got them late last night so was in a bit of a rush to fit them for this morning , I only take the bike to work on fridays
I need to fit exhaust clamps , she is blowing on the Clutch side at the link pipe , another tell tail sign the bracket is not ideal for best fitment

In terms of fueling she had one or two pops and bangs on down shifting after fitting the exhausts , I need to get the exhaust clamps this afternoon to stop a small exhaust leak between the link pipes and slip-on's

In general is it a prerequisite to re-jet the carbs or just just drive her on ?

Does anybody have any Baffles?

If you can't get any from the forum, try Desmoworld in Germany. They have a wide range of baffles including genuine Termi versions (48mm), which might fit your cans.

You might be ok with standard fueling but check your plugs. If it still pops after you seal the air leak then it probably needs more fuel. Are you running the standard airbox/air filter or open and high flow filter? The best long term option IMHO is dynajet kit anyway and maybe a bit of setup on a dyno especially if you're running open air box. To get the best benefit/smoother and a little bit more power anyway.
