Hello from the New Forest

Hi all. Will be picking up an EVO from Moto Rapido tomorrow morning. I'm sooo excited!! Feel like a big kid. Looking forward to bumping (not literally) into some of you local enthusiasts sometime soon. Should have picked it up two weeks ago but health said otherwise. Now it's raining.......grr.

Oh well, my first question (of many, no doubt) is about rear paddock stands. I've come across some pretty weedy ones in my Triumph days that allow single-siders to sway far too much. Any suggestions on something with some strength, especially if it doesn't cost a king's ransom.

Thanks in advance
Mike

Hi Mike

Had my Evo since Saturday and love it.

I'm using a normal paddock stand and 18 inches of chrome wardrobe rail through the rear axle.
works fine as long as your not removing the wheel

Enjoy

Regards
Rick

A genuine Ducati stand is the way to go. You wouldn't live with yourself if it fell off a cheap one!
Welcome to the local group and forum. Catch up soon, I'm sure.
