Now then..how yer doin

Thought I had better say my hello's.

Been lurking on the forum for a while now and finally bought my first monster after years of sports bikes (which I still love).
Fancied a total change in bikes and fell in love with the monster 1100, sold my 08 ZX10r and bought a red 1100s with termis and carbon extras 5 days before Christmas.

Looking forward to my first year on monster

Thanks Mick from the north east

Welcome and great choice of bike and engine, totally different to your kwak, but still very pleasing and with more pull than 4 oxen in a paddy field.

Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum. As Zak says, a great bike you have there. It will take some getting use to though. At first you will probably get to know the two red lights on the dashboard very well, as you only have half the revs to play with compared to the Kwak! Give it time and you will ask "Why not before now?"

I have one too. Glad I bought one now as 3 years later they decide to stop production. That means not too many of us around with them. Mines a keeper for a while as given up on the new Hyper

Welcome btw and no more lurking. Just plain and simply get out there and in the mix..... Oh you must also come to the WEEKENDER 2013 Its the New Law

The name or bikes don't ring a bell but would possibly know his face, my mate owns the local bike shop in the town so I get to see a lot of people whilst hanging around there but don't always catch the names.

Looking forward to getting to grips with the monster once the weather gets a little better

Thanks for the welcomes.

Sounds nice! I'd like a 1100s at some point but can't part with my s2r for the moment. Enjoy the new bike, just keep thinking of the warm summer days...

Welcome Mick, I'm from Durham so we're neighbours. Enjoy the bike.
