Cool RankinFile checking in from San Diego, Ca.

Hello all,

Not sure how I ended up here... followed a thread and next thing I knew I was signing up.
Lets just say a few glasses of Absinth were involved and leave it at that.

Bought my first Duc a S2r dark in June of 05. Finding that Im quickly becoming a fanatic.
Due to my location Its not likely ill be signing on to any group rides with you all. (San Diego CA)
But you never know. Fairly active with a local group DOCSD.com for group rides etc.

Any way thought Id say hi - I may be poking around from time to time.

Best,

-Jeff

Welcome!

You must be right near California Cycleworks - top fella Chris is, loads of good advice he gave me!

You also have a much better climate than we do so I'm not at all jealous...

Welcome Jeff, good to have you around.
Chris has helped me out once or twice too and supplied a few bits for my monster!

Yeah, his suggestions help free a siezed cylinder head stud a month or two ago. How's he doing with his S2R project bike?

Pedro -

Sorry, that can't be a very comon name in UK is it?

Anyway, Im not sure on the S2r project. I don't know Chris all that well. Just hung out at a few of the local events. Pango or Pongo was what he was on at the last Italian bike night. This might list what your thinking of. http://www.ducatitech.com/bikes/index.html

Yeah, read all about Pongo - Chris also has an S2R he's "working" on. Last I heard it was getting posh cylinder heads....

Not yet -- Vegas is about a six - seven hour drive, strait out flat.
Tend to fly, when we go. Weekends find me in the hills and canyons
a little closer.

That said a group ride with the fellas might be in the cards.

Why do you ask Fodder?

Funny --- That's my youngest daughter Rowan, she's eight.

No license yet, but she is quickly becoming a Desmo enthusiast
like her old dad.

Good manners preclude me from commenting on your... umm image.

Welcome! You certainly have better weather, but I'm glad we don't have your laws, interpretations of them, or plod without tolerance. Either way, do enjoy this place!
