. My 5 year old daughter is learning sign language at school and she's trying to teach me

...... I hope you're really good at lip reading because so far I've only learned "mummy" and "daddy"!

Gift Aid??? I think this is only for registered charities

Yeah, can lipread pretty well unless ppl talk too fast (like when they are excited or drunk - or both!).

Aha - reading this with interest....I know some pretty handy signs - BSL and Makaton - happy to share!

Of course, the only signs I know are bike related and cheerful greetings - the other ones would probably get me banned from the forum.....
