I've just spent the last twenty minutes reading that case, absolutely amazing that the police officer wouldn't rest till he'd finally worked it all out.

what a sad tale, fair play to the investigators though.

Yeah our forensics are the best that's true.

Wish they'd paid the same attention to when my shed got broken into last summer

Admirable persistence from the forensics expert to finally prove the driver was responsible for the biker's death, shame the sentence didn't adequately reflect the seriousness of the crime

Next Monthly

Hi Folks, just a reminder that its Sunday 13th, next Sunday for the monthly gathering at the Lockgate , the consensus being to bump it a week due to the bank holiday.

There is a ride out planned after coffee, this will be Tim's contribution to the Ride outs and is heading off into mid Wales.

This weekend is of course BSB at Oulton Park, thinking of taking a look tomorrow at the practice sessions and qualifying, myself and Marc meeting up in the morning, any other takers please watch this space/whatsapp/pm.

Enjoy the weekend ....

Thanks for the pic's Mike, great day out at the practice. Man that sun was hot, I was burning up on Sunday night should've brought my sunscreen

Good to meet Andy and maybe a future Ducati rider!

The Spark's have turned up so I'll be ditching the GPR's and fitting for the weekend.

Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday for Tim's ride out into Wales

Yeah thanks Mike, hopefully I'll get them fitted without totally destroying the back end of the bike with my DIY skills. Are you out this Sunday? I know you've got your hands full these days. Be good to see you if you can make it

The Brandreth Barn isn't too shabby, very nice tea! Not had a drink other than alcoholic at the Parker's Arms but the food is very good so I'm sure the coffee will be too.

Many thanks for the unplanned lift home from KAIS, Mike. I'll be at the Lock Gate tomorrow on 4 wheels, hopefully the bike will be back together for me to collect next weekend!
