Them there rearsets look the dogs doodahs............ Am I a happy chappy. Strange thing is the hard side to take off yesterday was easy to put on and the easy side we took off was a pain to put on. That side stand hole shifted a bit. Doh!! and I lent my paddock stand to scrapps Doh !!!!

Still all done and the seat looks fab. Ordered the passenger pegs today so Caroline will be able to come along to next meet at the expense of £203

Its a price too pay for excellance in the looks department imho and never had any proper rearsets other than the 748 were rearward. Ive waited a long time for getting a fantastic Monster and its getting rather special to me. Its seven years and a week since I got my m900 and I dont regret a thing.

Pleased or what

I shot down to Chatham Dockyard tonight before it got dark to grab a few last pics before the winter comes in.

Heres the original on day 1. I know what I like for sure

I would also like to say that there are many guys on this site that I inspire too and have been in awe of the bikes they have and made over the years. Names like Kato, AK , slob, grunter, jmo, crust and pomp for his classic monster and others who take stock and make something different. I hope it can be seen that although this new breed that not everyone likes , is becoming liked and admired for its look with a little bit effort.

Looks fantastic but then I would say that, what excellent taste you have ;-) time for a nice new gold chain this winter and some rear wheel bling as the standard hub carrier and wheel nuts lose there finish quickly.

Now for two

The important bits arrived today for the woman in my life. Actually look ok on a damn sight more attractive than the standard setup which I always hated.

The pillion pegs were £203 but you get a specially made new engine bolt so you can bolt into the end. They also take a minute to remove for solo.

So Benson your comments are now history and Im very glad to have rid of them

Watching eastenders on the sky+ as we went to the dogs with scrapps tonight. Came out with £8 over and a great nite had by all.

BTW tanks george. Less is now more with no plumbing and less weight.

Ooops ................... !!!!!!!!

It just had to happen......
Someone gave me the heads up on a full set of Carbon Vani Tank panels sides top and back on ebay secondhand 3 days old. I badgered for a buy now as would have been at work when sale ended so I have been entrapped and now skint. Project 1100s cf has moved another step forward. Now I just need some pearly paint.
