Well I am pleased to say that two years after settling an official complaint (which itself took two years!) with TFL including via the local government ombudsman, a £50 “goodwill” payment (to essentially - but deniably - refund me for the £50 CoC they erroneously insisted I had to get from Ducati) and a lot of back and forth, TFL has finally corrected their online checker to show my bike (2006 S2R 1000) is ULEZ compliant…
It only took four years, hallelujah… Bloody minded persistance finally pays off. Thanks to the various folk here on UKMOC who helped/advised/shared their ULEZ experiences, it all helped me push it along. Though it still amazes me TFL could be quite that incompetent, given I first sent them my V5c 4 years ago which clearly shows my bike as Euro 3 emission standard. Bizarre… Anyway all’s well that ends well… |
