New Levers

My new levers arrived today, so have got rid of the stock ones, also got out into the forest for a quick spin today!

You my friend are such a Tart. You so love your monster right. Who would credit you with falling for a new model. I hope I had something to do with encouraging you back and giving the new models a fair chance.

Great looking bike now. But there wasn't much wrong before mind.

Nice one , had mine 18 months now , done 7500 miles, such a good bike, yes on straights / motorways bigger engines will out grunt, but up in the hills it's all you need. I've got clip-ons fitted and the bike now turns/drops in even quicker, forces you to grip with the Knees more which is a good thing. Think about getting a Fenda Extenda, easy to fit and really helps protect the front of engine.

Mods so far:

DP tail tidy
Ti Termi's + filter & ECU
14 T front sprocket
DP carbon belly pan
Fenda Extenda
Woodcraft Monster adaptor plate and clip-on's
Rizoma bar ends
Rizoma reverse retro mirror ( left side only, France )
Puig double bubble ( with #58 sticker )
Radiator protector grill ( home made )

think thats it, would love to get rear-sets ( Rizoma ) and some funky body panels, liking the red/ green ones on yours, also lookindg at Radical Ducati body kit.

Oh, just fitted Road Angels, wore the Rosso II's out after 2500 miles, think a sports touring tyre might suite long ride-outs more.

By the way Martin..

Not sure if you're aware there's several plug in gizmo's and DIY fixes for the missing Servo motor.

I posted a few link a while back and I'll try to find them for you.

So there you have it...
I reckon its all lost in translation.

If you install the memjet you can remove the flapper unit.
If you dont install the memjet do not remove the flapper unit

What do you reckon. Makes more sense maybe ...... or maybe not

Rick if you looked at the Pic's of UKSurfers bike closely enough, you'll see that under the clutch cover is the Lamba sensor. THis I believe is provided with the exhaust. You need to check your own bike to see if this sensor is fitted and of its whereabouts. Have you checked it for yourself? The 796 exhaust could be different to your M1100s?

The pipe comes wth places for the two lamba sensors for the 1100s, along with no place for the valve. You have to remove the valve and the cable that goes to operate it. You can fit a bracket to the valve motor to eliminate the orange light and error code if you like / prefer.

As to set up, when I enquired I was told it is designed to go straight on with no need for mods, the same as on my QD Maxcone system.

Like you, I couldn't decide which to go for myself.

QD maxcone or sc 2-1 or sc oval cans or leo vince lv1 or termi or akros...........

its driving me mad lol
