If your trip has been spoilt by the cancellation, guess you can either claim on the travel insurance or go anyway and do something different. Or, as it seems, throw a hissy fit. Very poor show, indeed, but not from Ducati.
If no tour was available then that would be fine as I wouldn't of booked and paid for everything. But on the basis it was ok'd 6 months ago I've booked and paid for everything. I guess you wouldn't mind losing out on £500 by not going then? Travel insurance wouldn't help as trip could still be done but without the main reason of he trip would seem pretty pointless.

Maybe because whenever I post anything the same little clique of idiots feel the need to take cheap shots. I visit on here every few days , but rarely post because of the attitude of several members . However I very much doubt they would be so brave in real life but I suppose its easy to brave sat behind a key board.

If you don't like me. Don't post on my threads like I don't post on yours. Very simple. If you do post, why not act like a lady and be polite. I'd say anything to anyone I've said on net. But if re read every thread it's always you who trolls not me. It's like you've something to prove.

Yes I agree, the customer is always right and the problem with large companies is that can get lost in the chain of the organisation. You did the right thing on here and was given the right advice with a positive outcome with the intervention of Ducati UK you got a positive outcome. Which maybe something that would be of benefit to others if maybe Ducati Uk coordinated tours from the UK maybe that would be an improvement they could make, worked for you, you've got Livio Lodi ffs, mr ducati history taking you round. When I booked the tour it was only a few days before I was due to fly out that they confirmed which was not such a problem for me as I it was not the main purpose of the trip, just a bonus really. Hope you have a great trip and enjoy

Np, people with a certain mentality should probably buy a Japanese bike and try to arrange a tour round one of their factories maybe? Would love to hear on here how they get on

Really? I find this difficult to believe. I have never, in all honesty, read a more friendly forum! Seriously, little tiffs like this are in my eyes so rare on here. Quite exciting actually. You don't happen to have a Harley as well do you, any chance of a picture?

Honestly mate if you think this place has attitude I would advise you to never venture anywhere on the Internet. Especially Mumsnet! But if you do please say hello, my username on there is GaryGlitter
