When you look at the above - dispassionately - it is beautifully engineered, solid, strong, almost athletic but not agricultural - why I like Ducatis

Is the pic taken at night in a coal mine?

Looking good, Doggy! Have you painted the footrest hangers black? I think it works better than the standard silver/grey.

I'm tempted to suggest that you get some nice frame plugs from Desmoworld but you'd probably just accuse me of leading you astray! https://www.desmoworld.com/desmoworl...ckel-103?c=495

(By the way, these are a set of six but I'm sure if you asked him nicely, Chris would sell you just four if you told him you had frame protectors fitted.)

Thank you sir.
The footrest hangers are black as standard on the 796. I have painted the pegs though as the finish had disappeared on the silver pegs.
Don't know why the pegs come silver and the hangers black?. Looks a bit odd.
The R&G bungs aren't the most attractive and Im tempted to remove/replace them but sods law the moment I do I will probably drop it!
Got some weekend overtime coming next week and I think I've made my mind up what the money will go on.

Ah, well, if it's overtime you're talking about, you should go for the eight piece set that includes the seat cowl!

I'm rather embarrassed to post pictures of mine on here as it's completely and utterly standard! Well, apart from Termis perhaps, but even so...

Don't be embarrassed, Bob, nothing wrong with standard (a.k.a. 'blank canvas'!). The question is - will it be standard for long?
