Agree on all fronts - a superb job, sadly I also agree that the hose is likely to fret the frame.
I still have one bar end waiting on my bench for you to pick up

Thanks for all the nice comments. I don't think I will have issue with the hose to be fair as the remote is fixed anyway on the frame as it would be down the side option. The motion is on the shock side which has adequate movement I believe but I will be watching it for sure. I do have the option of running the hose under instead of over but I wanted it hidden from view as this shock is a bonus to a stock bike. I have choices at least.
It was such a nice feeling getting this far and a relief because the show is not over as the lady has not sung a note as yet. Bear in mind I bought her with a crank issue got that repaired but not yet been started and then the engine was overhauled finding a broken valve closer.
I have faith and have spent everything on new parts to hopefully have it run smooth and lovely but I have at least time before the weekender to iron out any issues.

Hope by the end of month. Busy next weekend working weekend after but commisioning will be done by Ducati Proteam trusted guys.

Watch out for carb icing if your test runs are going to be that late in the year.
My 750 had its first stutter in the early morning chill and damp last weekend.
I suggest buying some proFST stuff now.

It's been great reading and watching this build and getting some advice for my own engine fix along the way . So it's great to finally see her on her own two feet so to speak. Congratulations Albie she's a keeper!

Well theres 2 months gone somewhere and nothing happened due to home duties and basically feeling awful in my health but as of tomorrow and the very fact the weekender is due to happen I need to pull my finger out. I do have some holiday booked end of this month and maybe a day next week after a medical procedure I am having to endure.
So today brake and clutch fluid to get this bike being able to and pull away so that's tomorrows task and wiring connected and battery acid in and charge see what illuminates for me. Then its down to Pro team and get running. Hope to pick up my bar ends after turning down the ends to fit inside handlebars as well and re paint.
The countdown begins....

OMG you're using a lead acid battery? That's brave, with acid that could spill and spoil your nice paint.

Yes, but did they have gel batteries in 1993?
To be concours it has to have real acid on the frame... er.. I mean in the battery!

Lead acid battery and suicide stand = recipe for disaster imho.

Clutch now working once again oem parts which is what I want as why all the effort is made. Front brakes almost there but rear brake is being a pain so far.
I will go mad on another monster I hope to bring to the garage soon and will be a lightweight custom cafe racer but thats for the future.
Battery will have to wait until tomorrow now.

Well after having body investigation for bowel cancer I had today off and got most electrics working.
Battery filled and charged it went on the bike and most things worked out of the box
Sidelight yes
Headlight yes
High beam yes
Pass light yes
Indicators left and right yes
Side stand yes
Fuel light yes
Battery light yes
Oil pressure light yes
Number plate light is led no go think bulb gone
Neutral light yes
Front and rear brake lights yes
Horn no
Just have to get alloy ohlins remote hanger alloy welded and fit rear exhaust clamp and paint refresh bar ends and bond mirror lens into left hand mirror and double check all nuts and bolts all over
Getting there and hoping by the weekend all is ready to be going to Ducati proteam soon to have engine started
