The link is racing with Termis and ducati which is why so many dukes had them fitted, But now they make pipes for all bikes and scooters it would seem |

Riders spent about an hour fiddling with a screwdriver and got the (Zards) bike running sweet with standard filter etc - ran like a dog before

I have to admit i love my Sil's, i'd forgotten how light carbon cans are in comparison with the standard ones until i swapped them the other day for the MoT. Not having riden for around 6 months, the standard cans seem loud so naturally i can't wait to get the sil's back on! Was a bit worried though when the neighbour but one came out the other day when i was warming it up to say that the bike scared her granddaughter! Er, didn't have the heart to tell her i'd put the quiet ones on that morning.....................

The stock cans on the 1100EVO are actually manufactured by MIVV...and I'm really happy with them, not to mention the fact that I don't need to sell any of my body parts to buy an aftermarket system for minimal gains...

I had a test ride on an 1100 evo when my bike went in for its first service. The stock exhaust sounds great, just what I'm looking for. I asked how much it would cost to trade my 696 in and buy the Evo. He started off by offerring me £2000 off the price I paid 3 months earlier. I stopped listening.
There is a ducati performance termi pipe for the Evo....aren't you tempted? |

Hi. I have Leo Vince GP Style slip ons on my Monster 696 and have had them on there since the bike was about a year old. I have had no issues with fuelling or any faults / issues with the bike since they were put on (by myself not at a workshop). The bottom line for me was cost compared to the termis (I got them for about a third of the price of termis). They sound nice and are really loud with out the baffles in !

Termignoni's for me. Supplied and fitted by the dealer prior to delivery along with the air filter and ECU. Thus avoiding any potential warranty issues.
They sound and, IMO, look fantastic. BTW, when I switch the bike on, the read-out goes MONSTER-UK-DP. Am I right in thinking that the DP refers to the remap? 600 mile service on Friday, hope it's not pissing it down. Last edited by Small Clanger; 25-09-2011 at 08:31 AM.. |

...here's one that won't break the bank. I've had Arrows before and I couldn't fault them.
