ha - just seen this thread and what a laugh it is
Some of the reasons I like this club are because it's friendly, it doesn't take itself too seriously, there aren't too many people who get offended and all the people I've met from here are genuinely good peeps. Lets face it, there are loads of forums (fora?) that are completely anal, others that are just plain unpleasant. Let's try to keep the spirit of this place. As for this: Quote:

tractor? I assume you're referring to the air cooled qualities of Blah Blah's bike (right oh then... now where did I put that can opener..?)
now, to put the record straight (for that read 'put the cat amongst the water-cooled pidgeons') air cooled = classic, uncluttered, lean... watercooled = like having your bowels on show (think lloyds building of london - with all its plumbing on the outside) drops head behind parapet and listens for incoming mortars... If you've been following this you'll have gathered I've got an old M900 (like 1994 old) and can't afford decent exhausts... |

I drove a watercooled monster tonight, and it was r u b b i s h, couldn't go very fast, slithering around the corners, utter pants.
and if I knew it was going to rain as hard as it did tonight, I'd have stayed at home |

Black monsters are the fastest?! Pah! You have to have a corse stripe to really get going! And a single sided swinger!

If there's any offending going on can I be deeply and mortally offended so I can be properly righteously indignant, I fancy a change of life style for a while and thought 'grumpy mortally offended old git' would make a nice change for a while.
In the meantime silver monsters with termis would be embarrassed by Nattys, if he ever gets one 50 honda. Sorry but its true and to deny it woud be like expecting to find a minke whale in a norfolk garden. Whereas ..... a black monster with arrow pipes like mine wouldn't, you'd need a CB125S at least. Coarse stripes just add turbulence and that slows you down so,,,, you'd be looking at being hassled by C90's ridden by 90 year olds in oversize wellies.

Single sided!!!!
It's like this, If you saw off one of your legs then you'll be unblanaced and more likely to fall over. Same with swinging arms, its a blindingly obvious and evidence based conclusion.
