As a follow up I've now got these fitted on my bike. I'm pretty impressed so far - they have a reasonably stable view and, subject to the bolts being tightened up seem pretty solid (so far!). They certainly are a big improvement on the Oxford Products ones I had on previously, they seemed to spend more time bouncing down the road alongside my bike than actually fitted!
