Update
Quick update. ECU flashed, 3 day turnaround. Thanks Neil. TPS reset done as per advice on here
Maxton shock fitted, received one week after ordering, thanks Richard. Great service and advice. Not sure about the purple, but apart from that it looks the business. Now awaiting a first test ride. Forks will wait until spring. |

Bet you can't wait to get out there and try it. That's going to be a frustrating wait!
Don't forget that, following a reflash, all the ECU's auto adaptive parameters will have been reset. So don't panic if you experience the following on your first few rides: • Rough running especially at and off idle. • A tendency when slowing down for the tickover to hover around 2,000 rpm for a few seconds before dropping to normal. • The possibility of the motor stalling for no apparent reason. It's perfectly normal while the auto adaptive parameters are re-learning their optimum settings and should settle down after 100 - 200 miles of normal riding. |

Out of interest, which Maxton rear shock did you choose? May I be cheeky & ask the price?
Thanks |

You may be cheeky. The RT10 rear shock with piggyback costs £630.00 + VAT.

Maxton
It was a piggy back unit and it had to be mounted upside down. I will take pic tomorrow and then try and remember how to post it!

Managed to get out for a quick ride out two days ago. Only 60 miles, but the remap has made a significant difference to low speed running and running through town is no longer a pain. Smooth and an even pick up even with so few miles.
As for the suspension, too early to say at the moment as the roads were damp and not the conditions to assess it's merits, but much smoother, well damped and no jolting. Perhaps a tad hard, but they need time to bed in and there is lots of adjustment to play with. Next a different seat to stop my nuts from repeatedly kissing the tank and the front forks upgraded next spring, assuming they cannot be adjusted to perform any better than they do now (seems unlikely from what I have read on the forum). Have a good Xmas all and many safe miles in 2021. |

I would think the best thing to do with your forks would be to send them to Maxton. I'm coming to the same conclusion with my Showa ones, I may try the Andreani valve kit to see if that improves them as it's a cheaper option.

With the saddle, I've got the Ducati Performance one, which is a definite improvement. They're not made anymore unfortunately so, if you want one (96766909B) you'll need to find a second-hand example. Alternatively, Corbin or Sargeant are popular aftermarket options. Or you could have your stock saddle reopholstered and recovered. |

I can certainly recommend Corbin saddles, as I have one on both my 748 and Monster, but they're bloody expensive new and I bought both s/hand. the 748 one makes the bike almost bearable to ride and so much better compared to the standard one, the monster one is nice too and dead comfy but a bit low compared to the standard one so my legs are a bit more cramped but not nut cracking action.
Is there is a company who can do something similar to what the Corbin is like?

Looking good and wouldn't expect anything less than excellent service from Richard and the Maxton gang!
I’ve long been a fan with them having sorted the front and rear suspension on my little bike- Along with the forks on my Monster- Got a fifteen year old Nitron on the rear of that though-
