Agree! And once you get to a certain point the tyre can deteriorate very quickly afterwards...before you know it you can see the steel belts peeking out from the inside! As Thirdway says, the handling would have gone to pot before then anyway.

I have Sportsmarts on the R1, love 'em. They seem to last forever and are so good in the wet.
