Have you spotted many sporting Italian riding gear: vest, shorts, flip-flops/sandals?

Almost all of them, some of the scooter helmets seem to date back to the 1950s

I do know why they do it though, its 30 degrees+.

A few years ago I was here on my then BMW K1200GT in textiles and boiled, I had a lovely ride down the mountain to Fivizzano from our villa in shorts and a tee, the vid I took's on youtube.

I really like the turquoise tyres. They really contrast well against the pale grey frame.

Hi Nick! Was hoping to meet you at the 'Bike Meet' at Whitecroft next Thursday 15th.

Don't suppose you will be 'jetting' home especially for that!

Just back today Chris so that sounds quite possible, feed me a bit of detail.

Last stop was Venice, total washout on the bike front , again fuggin hot and more old stuff. Slightly better than Rome which really needs the help of DIY rescue or similar.
