Hi
I fitted a Factory Racing , clutch is dragging on the padock stand, not enough movement in the piston to release the pressure plate fully , even on full clutch release the pressure plate normally stops rotating I have the extra little rod spacer installed too , I presume the rubber O rings ; you put between the engine casing and cylinder to stop dirt going in? I recently installed an Oberon slave on my S4 and it made one hell of a difference. It is like a new bike again. Well worth the money.

I fitted an Oberon on my 1997 900 some when around 2011 I think but only because I got it at a good price from someone in the club and the gold matched the rest of my bike.
Unlike many profess, I didn’t really notice a difference in either bite position or making it a lighter action. You can get a rebuild kit for the original which I had done previously on mine back in 2005 which was still working well at the point of change.
