I got 2 pressies today, well 3 really but 2 the same as. My carbon sprocket cover came and very nice too. Its a very nicely made , with a good finish and matches the other carbon finishes on bike. For £39.99 good value.
Bit of camera flash on that last one but it does look good. And my crash protectors from R&G which are very nicely made indeed. Not keen on the look but a small price to pay in the event of a mishap god forbid. Got frame and front axle ones. The frame ones are the aerodynamic new type.

Well after a service and a clean
After the service came the ride home with some new bits and some cr4ppy weather for 200 miles. A 2 hour clean bought her back and some new bits came out the cupboard with some more this coming week. Yep more carbon as I need to now get the weight back down as the crash protectors added quite a bit.
The clutch cover was removed for the anodised JHP pressureplate and rizoma clutch cover which I have modified with a carbon fibre 5 pointed affair. 3mm just cut to shape and filed smooth. I just need to relaquer it now. The carbon fibre tank top and lower protecter were on the wish list and I got sucked into buying them yesterday. What is it with some mechanics cant put things on properly. I had to take it off when got home as the rubber seal gasket was poking out 3-4mm in places and none in others. Took me 10 minutes to sort . The carbon fibre sprocket cover bought for £39.99 not dp but as good quality and the R&G crash protectors The front R&G crash protectors. And 2 side shots. Not like this for long I can tell you That tail is going in the plastic parts bin

Looking good!
A word of warning though, watch that clutch hose as it looks like it's touching the casing. Mine was and the braiding wore right through the laquer and paint down to bare metal. I'm getting a replacement under warranty. Just in case, I bought some 6mm electrical spiral binding which I've wrapped around it, so it won't chafe any more, as well as having the hose slightly moved away from the casing. |

Now with Termis
I have just won the Carbon fibre TERMI's on ebay. I sweated a bit and got them for a song if not a dear song £670 and I also got the carbon fibre headlamp cover for £55 saving me around £35 and exhausts saved over £200. If I outbid that 1 person Im sorry I wanted them more than you obviously . I went up to £800 but no-one re bid. Phew I now need a lie down from the stress.

I know Natty Boy did I think. PM him he may be able to help. You may be able to tuck under rad ends. I think you have to remove the plastic bolts which hold the two fans on and they sandwich the mesh.

That would clamp the mesh in direct contact with the radiator fins, not a good idea.
