Had a wee look inside one of them there, the silencers are 43cm long and you can see the saw marks where they were cut.

Should there be a gasket in this part at the link pipe? Very loose fitting

No gasket but it may have flared over the years if loose. That's why you need mount plate brackets nearer the front. Less wiggle room. You may get away with compound in it.

In fact the standard silencers for my injection 900 are very long, more so than the earlier 900.

As well as the triangular brackets, you will need the rubber bushes to go into the footrest hanger holes, and also the alloy top hat washers that go inside the bushes.

If they are not already cored and you have an inclination to this. By far the easiest way is to just drill a few holes in the plate that reduces the tail pipe to the small outlet.

Mine where elaborately cored by removing the plate and replacing it with a perforated plate. To get it to sound nice, rather than just harshly loud, I had to pack the last chamber with stainless wool.
Upon dismantling another standard pair I discovered that the end chamber is the only one to contain any s/s wool anyway... Hence why just drilling the end plate will achieve the same thing.
I've got the silencer brackets and bolts on the way so I will need the rubber bushes, top hat spacers and boots if anyone has them.

The inscription on the silencers states which models they have type approval for. In this instance the later photo's say they are for the m900.

The earliest m900 silencers didn't have a chamfer on the underside, but by the time of the launch of the m600 the chamfer had been introduced and the silencers were Type Approved for both m600 and m900. I'm sure I've seen silencers list m600, m750 and m900 on them, but M1000 silencers are definitely longer and there may have been changes on the others in later years as legislation changed.

Rubbers available from Moto Rapido or most Ducati dealers and stein dinse too

Thinking of selling the posh bits off my monster to fund a second bike, got used to having a hack for crappy weather and want to get something but funds are very limited at the minute with a house purchase. Any idea on value of the bits on my bike?

Alloy tank
Seat cowl with luggage rack
Nose fairing
Belly pan

Got a spare tank in good condition I can get painted in red to match the rest of the bike

You can get the smaller bits as NOS items from the States for £50 to £100 each plus p&p and taxes, but the big money item is the ally tank.
The last one I saw for sale was:
