hoop question for anoraks - Page 2

As I understand it....

1993 built bikes had yellow hoops - most likely 851/888 stock parts
1994 built bikes had bronze hoops

But given the random selection of parts from stock that may be an iffy assumption

I think I confused myself in my last statement whereas I actually left the ohlins spring alone and got the hoop recoated in a similar shade checking my thread. I do still have an original shock in good order but that's on the shelf.
