Beautiful machine!

I'd be interested to know if the rearsets will fit on a 2009/10, a cheaper option than the Rizoma's....possibly!?

Nice one!

With the exception of Bex's slightly modded 796, that black 1100 Evo is my favourite modern monster - IMO, far better looking than the stock 1100S, which just looks gay.

I'm green with envy.

I am not sure if the rearsets will fit - my guess is no, which is a shame because I would love some Rizomas and then you could buy my standard ones

If I find out I will let you know.

Intitially I didn't like the new routing of the exhaust copying the Diavel, but it is growing on me. I really like that frame colour with the black, a great looking bike you have there.

I would stick my neck out and say yes but you will not be able to take a pillion. They use all the same bolt fixings. I even reckon the s4r ones may. They probably are them anyhow.No bolt on pillion pegs. Stock only. I did look at buying a set of them in rizoma as they are £200 cheaper than 1100 ones.
I was lucky and got them for £250 but I paid £190 for pillion pegs.

The pillion thing would be a problem, not that it my wife gets the opportunity to come out with me very often, but it needs to be an option...I shall have to swing by the dealer and have a look how the pillion pegs are attached on the evo frame and if anything could be fabricated.

I have no doubt you could rig something up. It really depends on how much work at what cost. I dont understand why ducati once again designed the new bike with footrests like the old style bikes. They know how successful the sR series was and the owners removing rears if solo. It makes so much sense to make independant in my book anyhow. Mine unbolt with 2 8mm capheads. They use the rear engine bolt as a fixing point. They supplied a new bolt with drilled and tapped ends. The other bolt attaches to rearset.

I think they are almost identical other than cosmetic colour /shape to sR series. Like I said sR are cheaper to buy than M1100. But you would have to check first.

Thanks for posting up the photo Singletrack and the info' Albie. I think at the moment I shall stick with my original plan, which is just to take the existing 'chicken wings' off and get them powder coated in the same black metallic finish as the rear subframe. Everything needs to be done on a tight budget unfortunately

Well my EVO has now had most of its new bits added
tail tidy
new reg no
mirrors
exhaust
bar ends
lots of carbon bits

Still waiting for Rizoma rearsets which are on order ( there is now a new set for the EVO) and 14 t sprocket, and levers

It also has a new stable mate to keep it company - Andy swapped his 1200GS for one of these.

It seems to run much smoother after its first service. I am assuming it is because of the Termis and new ECU
Beware though it is VERY loud without baffles - I am running it with the baffles in.

Have you tried ( or anyone come to that ) www.satoracing.com they do crackin, quality rear sets, JHP have fitted a few sets who confirm this.

By the way, thats a beauty !!!
