Getting better
A little story about Swindon. The first time I went to Swindon... I was on a business trip to a client's office... arriving by Train at Swindon Station, I headed for the taxi rank, got in a black cab, and trying not to sound like I was from out of town, said "station house please!"... the driver turned to me with a 'you bloody wally' look on his face and nodded in the direction of the station that I'd just exited from. Well I was up at 7.30, and by 12:00 I'd shot 100 clay pigeons. You want to try that with a hangover. God I felt rough. And I only had 2 halfs. I can't keep up with you lot, I'm staying in from now on.
Thanks for your hospitality Wayne, and good to see the rest of you. |

Mmmm, just a little tired today.... and have a nice bass line thumping in my head. Thank christ I didn't have to ride my bike home this morning...
All round top evening, great laugh... especially Old Large 'Ead, getting stuck in his kebab at the side of the road... looked like he'd head butted it!! Count me in for the next one!! Ped
