I will try and get some pic's on today, would of done it last night, but i was forced to go for a spin out to Avebury and surrounding area's.
Cheers for now

Concentrate, here comes the science bit...

Doppler Effect dictates that things move towards the red end of the spectrum when they are moving away from you i.e. faster. Q.E.D. Red is the faster colour.

Meanwhile... congrats Foresterone!

Now correct me if i'm wrong (as i'm sure you will!!) but white hot is hotter than red hot right?

Dictionary definition....
white-hot (hwtht, wt-)
adj.
1. So hot as to glow with a bright white light.
2. Zealous; fervid.
3. Fastest colour for Monster 696+

Welcome Forestorone That colour is lovely. It has suddenly dawned on me after seeing Daves thread about dropping the headlight and clocks why the front light is wrong on the new monnie its the handlebars. This bike is crying out for clipon replacements and bar end mirrors. Come on whose going to be first to try it out

Darn it! I was hoping to blind you all with science

Time to fall back on my "all Ducati's have to be red" argument... I'm a purist, so although the pearl white does look really good, for me, Ducati's have to be red (with yellow being an acceptable alternative Italian colour).

Another exception that trumps all other colour schemes is tricolore.

Can we just agree that tricolore is the fastest colour?

Now that's a fairpoint - Tricolore is the fastest. Now where's my red and green spray paint!

I love it when we get a happy ending

Now let's sort out Squiffy and his misguided view of 696 styling...
