Well its not exactly my first big bike but point well taken, I mucked about on a few scramblers when I was a kid particularly an old RM480 single pot which had a real kick to it. Used to ride my mate's Kwaka KH250 before being amazed by the RD350 LC (god that was a long time ago!) but I'm a sensible lad these days....

Thanks Bertie, still not clocked the top end on it yet. Have to admit its never been my thing - love the torque more than anything and the breed, we seem to be rare!

Welcome fella. Don't fancy trading it in for a 620ie by any chance?

Very nice bike!

Talking Hmmmm....

Thanks for the welcome, give me a few years...as the brain is already beginning to slow down I might be ready to get something a bit smaller as the reflexes start to dull!

Yes I was - turned up late because I didn't know it was going on until one of the Riders sales guys told me - didn't have the termis fitted at the time so it was a bit tame compared with all the other bikes when they all fired up. Fantastic to see so many Ducatis especially the classics. Think it might have been the only Tricolore there and yes I agree - more is never enough!

Hi Justin and welcome from another recent newbie.
Got my S4RS a few weeks ago and am luvvin' it. Done more miles in 6 weeks than in the last 6 years on my old R1.
As a newcomer to Ducati at pushing 50 after 30+ years of Jap bikes (including 10 years on the track, IoM etc.) I'm hoping to take in some of the meets etc. over the summer. Start tomorrow actually with a Ducati track day at Oulton Park. It's right on my doorstep so be rude to miss it.
Are your Termis as outrageously LOUD as mine.....?
