Both races were great. Makes perfect sense if you do the maths to move the MGP so as not to clash. Thankfully F1's new owners have now started to consider clashes and consult with other events/series before finalising a calendar. Anyone who thought Baku was less than interesting is either a troll or didn't watch it.

F1 in Baku could be described as wacky races, but not a snorefest...

Yep, but beyond the crashing and the 7 DNFs there was some great racing in between. It's a stunning track and just watching the cars thread through at those speeds with zero run off is a thrill. Last years race was a huge disappointment but this year made up for it in spades.

I agree, it was a good race and really on the edge of the seat stuff towards the end. Plus a podium no one predicted before the race. Plus they pay F1/Liberty a fortune to host it. There will be a race in Baku for the foreseeable future.

Hope Chas is fit enough for LS.
It tickled me that everyone said how nice it was of Rea to pull over and make sure Chas was ok after using him as a make shift take off ramp, however no one mentioned that he picked his bike up off the floor and rushed to the finish line to grab 3rd first. Only then did his 'concern' over ride his racing instinct |
